PSX... Like AB said, released in Japan. But didn't sell, due to major "last-minute" changes to the actual systems capabilites.
Looks cool, but doesn't do much.
Is now cut to almost half price in Japan though - was released at £399, now selling (retail) for about £200. In Yen though. Obviously.

Which begs the question, with the new Slim PS2 out, PSX, PSP soon, and info coming through about PS3, i would like to know how many of these machines they are expecting to sell.
Yeah the PSX
Was released in Japan with a few of the main features that a lot were looking forward too no longer included. It dropped in price quite a bit since launch and a few extra features have been added to the newer models.
Think its still planned for a European release but it keeps getting delayed.

I'm pretty sure it came out in Japan, and didn't sell very well, so it went out of production. I think.
