First track is supposed to be the Super Mario Bros (Famicom) theme. It was played on what sounded like a banjo and wasn't quite right.
Second track I'm on now is the Super Mario 64 theme in some saxaphone meets wind instruments mix. Sounds ok. Except for the crazyy Japanese guy shouting something at the beginning...
So far better than the free Donkey Konga CD.
I'm hoping Revolution Zelda games use proper orchestrations rather than beefed up Midi. Although the quality is undoubtedly much improved from console to console, I doubt you could beat an orchestral version.
I still think the music from the cartoon series was the best version. Only trouble is you can't find it anywhere to download without speech over the top.

Majora's Mask music was great.
The end of the third day still haunts me to this day.
What a truly great game.
It even had the normal Zelda music in it, unlike the "first ever 3D" Zelda.
Pish.
Those are more for my collecting of Ninty stuff than anything.
I have Code veronica, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask... one I got free with Total 64 and the 3 I've obtained via NOM.
My game soundtracks include:
Melodies of Time
Smashing Live
Donkey Konga
Pokémon 2 B A Master (though technically the soundtrack to the first cartoon series)
Pokémon World (Which I got for free at Game just for passing through whilst a "Pokémon Tour" was going on in Cardiff)
Grand Theft Auto Vice City
and other than my latest one, I think that's it.
I have a few although I rarely listen to them.

I love all things Nintendo! With a few exceptions of course.

Ahahahaha. Yey.
But I can't really see why you'd want to listen to Nintendo music outside of a game. Surely you have something better to listen to...no? Not at ALL?

That's the point.
You're not actually supposed to buy crap.
