A while ago someone posted something about the government 'requesting' plot lines in soaps. I think Corination St was the one in question.
I've been trying to find a sourse to reference for this.
Anyone know where it is?
Also, on the offchance, anyone heard of a story about the program CSI airing, falsely claiming that you can't get fingerprints from pens (because of the rounded surface), which then saw an increase in the number of crimes solved by retrieving such fingerprints?
I'm looking to find a reference for this too.
Cheers
P.s. I've tried down the back of the sofa, nothing :^(
Any one got any ideas on the CSI one?

I've googled, and in the case of the CSI one, trawled forensics, science and psychology journals. It's a bit of a struggle.
I'm assuming you've googled it?
