If I buy an album in the shops, and I legally allowed to download the tracks for free from a fileshare programme on my computer to listen to on there?

Just wondering, because my CD drive is a big lamed up and my computer speakers are better.

Thankyew.

No, I don't think so. It's still downloading copyrighted material.

Same goes for ROMS etc, even if you own the cart/disc it's still piracy.

You're legally allowed to backup your CD onto your PC. What you've bought is technically a digital copy of a master disc anyway. I'm 90% sure that's right.

Seems silly that he's not allowed to download it after all he has paid for the CD, so should be entitled to the tracks he has paid for.

I thought so.

Also, if I bought a series of say South Park on DVD, I can legally download it too?

It's just digital backup copies to watch via a different medium, which is covered with the license you get when you pay for the material?

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Easy and free service!
I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
