Got a microstar 6147 motherboard in what was a working pc...now it doesn't power up the display monitor. If the onboard graphics are goosed would it be necessary to disable them (using jumpers)before trying a new graphics card...or is the whole thing more-or-less goosed??
Also, if the latter is the case then is there an alternative board of similar spec that I could look for on ebay or similar as I have been unable to locate an msi 6147 so far.
Any help would be appreciated..I am attempting to get this pc up and running for a friend in need (incapacitated and doesn't have much money.
Thanx
