Glad to see there are other people out there who have been pushed to physically beating their console. I gave my first PS2 a good hammering AFTER it decided to stop working and scratch all my discs.
Wouldn't hit my new slimline though, dainty little piece of crap.
Coincidence?
EA are to blame for my kicking frenzy. Burnout 3's online system was awfully unstable. Regular disconnections pushed me over the edge.
Funnily enough, the Xbox itself still works fine, it's just the disc that met a painful early end.
I'm about to boot my X-Box in - the disc drive keeps on opening and closing on its own accord.
I honestly can't see how hard it is to take a little care with stuff.
I've only ever scratched one disc - and that was only because it was inside the Xbox I booted the fook out of.
