Just been revamping my site and am now using CSS in a frame, I have a slight problem now with a scroll bar from left to right that is not on the pages for normal and it only appeared when I had them appear in the frame? here is the frame code.

<body> Sorry, you don't appear to have frame support. <br /> Go here instead - <a href="http://www.2442.co.uk/sorry.htm"></a> </body>
can anyone suggest how to alter the code so that I do not have a scroll bar when the pages show in the frame please, any advice much appreciated, ps only go to the site if you have broadband.

Ok going to try this last suggestion, why use the frame? because it keeps the address bar simple and you dont see the page names, thats the only reason, its a personal choice thing I suppose

I'd imagine that second frame is being allocated some quantity of space, and the larger frame a full width. Which thus makes everything a little too big to fit on one screen, hence the bar.

If you need the empty frame, maybe set it a minimal width and allocate the main frame width="*".

Worth a try?

It may not be, I'm not exactly an expert. But I've had similar problems trying to wrestle stuff into the correct sizes.

Just out of interest, why use frames when you're only using one to display the entire page, while the other takes no space at all?

Would it not make sense to not use frame, and have the single page display like any other?
