I still think Blurry's alright; but I have to be in the right mood at the right time to listen to it - just like Nirvana CDs.
I remember seeing 'The making of...' on MTV2 a couple of years ago, and it was on Puddle of Mudd's "forthcoming new single", which just happened to be Drift and Die. I remember anticipating it's release, commercially. Finally, other people would be able to experience the brilliance of this song and at least give the band that little piece of credit they deserve for it... But no.
Next thing you know, it's nowhere to be seen or heard - and suddenly, everyone's shouting "She f****** hates me!!!" and the band went dead, having survived for so-long under the bloated, greasy palms of Fred Durst.
Oh, well. :(
I'd say they're lighter than Stained. More like a hick version of Nirvana, their songs are hardly complicated but they're good. The second album, Life on Display, is great too.
