Due to my love of Kaka, I often play as Brazil against Brazil on 3 star. It's reasonably competitive, but I just do things with Kaka.
This is usually in the form of a long shot and I've found out a couple of things. Firstly that a crappy Okocha chip can be a blessing in disguise. People seem to hit flyers off of bobbling balls better than the straight-to-keeper floor shots.
Secondly, that long shots are like free kicks. If you power up to half way, the shot is far better than otherwise and usually goes into better areas of the goal.
Finally, go into free practice and work on taking long shots, but just before shooting, change the angle of your player. This helps in changing the type of shot it is.

lol i play on 3 star now, not got quite used to the game its sefl unlike pro 3 which i wa son 5 start, but im still findin it hard to score from outside the D i can score just ourtside the box but n further out than tha :(, any help ppl? part from one shot from at least 45 yrds out on the left hand side with john arne risse foir liverpool and it curled right into top left corner was a well smart goal, but thas only goal from distance ive manage to score.

I just get cheap with my money... I like the new scoring system.
I scored a belter from 40 yeards out... okay, so I was France playing Egypt on 1 star but still.

Play on lower stars for now then, and gradually work your way up. Scoring via crossing and corners is more difficult to start with than before, so to begin with, work on your passing game, and as you get better, increase the difficulty your playing on.

Ah, but you can choose which memory card you want to save your game/replay onto to! Cant believe they didnt have it in the last game, although the ability to do this was in earlier games.
