Comes to just over £500!
Will have to put up with my crappy RAM at the minute but I intend to get the Corsair 2Gb CL2 stuff when I get some more funds in.
Only problem is my old RAM is schieze. 1 stick of 512 works fine, however 2 sticks of 512 equals blue screen of death.
Going to be ordering Corsair 2Gb xms3200 CL2 tomorrow so I can run dual channel.
This is turning out to be somewhat expensive =(
*hides from brother*
And I will be overclocking most things and apparently the extra 512 in the cpu doesn't make an awful lot of difference to justify the extra cost.
Heard lots of bad things about the X800XL, although it's 16 pipe and slightly clocked higher than the Pro, it's performance isn't as good and gives much lower benchmarks than a Pro.
Epox makes a good board for PCIe, highly recomended and very stable as well as being cheaper.
Processor wise. Not bad, only down side to a Venice is the 512K L1 instead of the San Diego which has a 1Mb.
