Took my rabbit up the vets today to get his nails clipped (he broke one yesterday, right up to the vein - that would have been messy), and to have the first of his injections! Poor little guy. First we had a bumpy cab ride, then someone jabbed needles in him, then I had to wait outside M&S with him for ages while the girlfriend shopped, fearing for which of the local nutjobs would make a beeline for the new attraction taking their precious attention away (one did, thought I'd have to open the cage and tip Ralph on her), then another bumpy cab ride home.
He seems fine though, he was actually sitting in his travel cage washing up the town. He's a people-rabbit. I like to think he enjoys his adventures.

No no, our rabbit soon put the dog and cat in their place as inferior mammals, but it's still working on the budgie and us humans. Great little pet - to think, I once got banned for saying they were more evil than darkies...
