Is there any way I can upgrade to Sky Plus without having to pay the stupid full price? New customers get £100 off the box and free installation, wheres I'd have to pay £200 for the box and £60 installation - just because I'm an existing customer.

I find that a little unfair for existing customers, just wondered if there was some way of getting around it. I'd be upgrading from the Family Pack to Movies World + Family too.

So is there any way to avoid getting shat on just because they've already got me tied in for a year?

any 'promotional codes you can slip me? ;)

My dad cancelled Sky nearly three years ago because my wee brother wouldn't hoover his room.

Threaten to cancel service and send James Murdoch a nice e-mail, worked for me when I wanted a PACE replacement for my cack Amstrad box which screwed up many times.

Yeah that's the problem though, I have no use for multiroom as I have a TV Link set up.

If there's no other way, I guess I'll have to settle for their 'screw our existing customers' deal.

You can get it for £99 if you take out a multiroom subscription at the same time.

Ring them up and ask, but don't say your name or anything. Make it sound as if you're a new customer thinking about getting Sky, then upgrading to Sky+ later.

Oh and, trust me, Sky+ is worth it

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
