the cylindrical pencil, what a stupid
idea
for this design allows for a great
amount of rolling when not
particularly necessary
a more hexagonal pencil
however
allows for rolling when required
which can be enforced by the flick of
a thumb
such as the flicking of a switch
perhaps
but this design prevents unwanted
rolling
like the rolling of bernard's pencil
across the table
over the edge
and downwards
no direction but downwards
downwards to the abyss of death and annihilation
*****
i call this the small kettle
The small, rusting kettle reflects
the light back from some small
parts of its small structure
like it reflects on its long dutiful life.
tens, hundreds maybe
thousands of gallons
boiled to boiling point
one hundred degrees celsius
at which point water turns
to steam
liquid -> gas
the small kettle sheds a
tear of sadness
for now
it has broken and is in
the bin
I thank you for your time
good,
but not good.
Enough.
