Does anyone know if this is a good deal for 149.99...

5.2 million pixel

PictBridge enabled

3.4x Optical zoom

XD memory type

4x Digital zoom

Movie mode facility

2" LCD Screen size

16mb XD Memory card

150g Camera weight

USB Connection

My main things that i want are good Megapixels and Zoom...is 3.4x Optical and 4 x Digital Zoom good? What is Optical/Digital Zoom?

Thanks

It's alright.

As long as you've looked around and are satisfied...

If you get a digital camera, it's irrelevant how good it is to an extent because it'll be a million times better than your camera, plus you can zoom into it way more afterwards anyway.

I am not planning on doing anything professional but i want it to have a good zoom because i hate it when you try taking a picture of something and then the object i am trying to take a picture of comes out tiny because there is a rubbish/no zoom.

This is most apparent on my phone where i try taking a picture of someone on stage when i am at a gig and the person comes out tiny even though they are about 5 steps in front of me!

That's a decent deal, but it'd be easier for us to help you if you gave us a link to the model and stuff...

If you're just a snapper, or not professional, you won't be able to tell the difference (unless you put them side by side and closely inspect them) between 3MP and 5MP.

Optical zoom means how far the camera lens goes in and shows you what's really there. Digital zoom basically fills in the gaps as it goes in closer and closer, after optical zoom. In short, more optical zoom the better.

Make sure the XD card is the type of memory you want, and make sure it comes with all the necessary cables.
