Ah, aparantly the problem with the Beta is that it's only up for a certain amount of time, and being primarily an American Beta test, over here you'll only get to play it from 11.00pm til 6.00am. Also, you'll doubtfully have any trouble playing the Beta, it's not restricted to the US.

Make up an American adress, it's what PCGamer did for their review of Final Fantasy 11 when it came out in the US, and they had no problems with it.

I did have to fill in post code and region so I don't know if it will work or not based on what you have said.

You have to live in the US or Canada according to the website...
It looks interesting, I hope you can log-in with a moterbike beside you XD

Sounds good to me, i like the fact that there is no Fee to pay, and you don't need a flying machine to run it!

An all too common occurance on many MMORPG's, luckily I found it easy to avoid such ramblings by sticking to the mission areas.
