I have 6 Networked machines with one Harmon Kardon sound system - I am looking to buy a HUB/Switch with 6 Jack ports so I can run the system for all 6 machines.
Wondered if some of the networky guys on here may have set this up for monitoring alerts on machines. I plan to set up different sound waves with Spotlight Management software so that they all pass through the same set of speakers but I will be able to identify which one is screwing up.

Not for gaming, two of them are servers with 12(180GB) Hard Drives in each, they are running alerts from Spotlight and SQL and a hard drive monitoring tool.
Basically want to run it like a router, the main audio jack from the system goes into the HUB with 6 others going out to the individual machines. Equipment like this possible or would I be best buying cheap speakers for each?

Bit elaborate, but a small mixer? You'd have wires running from each machine to it, but y'know.
