October 25, 2004 - If you're a wrestling nut, you may have noticed on WWE.com a strange occurance of the the letters D and S popping up in nearly every article on the site.

Any word that has a D and S sequentially has had those letters spotlighted and enlarged in a newer, more Nintendo DS-style font. No explanation for this is made by the WWE, and clicking on the letters does nothing.

Though the company has not commented on the campaign, Nintendo is obviously getting ramped up for the Nintendo DS launch with a viral campaign of its own.

Well, I was hoping this would launch and intelligent and witty debate as to the morality and ethics of such a major corporation using viral marketing in this way. Ho-hum, no such luck...
