I am currently building a Web-Site using tables to hold the content. I was wondering whether it was better to use percentages or define the widths manually for the tables?

At the moment I have percentages but I know it will funk up in some resolutions but if I define the width then it will look crappy in low resolutions.

So which one?

Really?

Div's can be a pain if you're building a site from scratch I guess...

I use a mixture of both, but mainly use fixed values.

I want it to look the same no matter what resolution it is on although I am more biased towards 1024x768 and 1280 x 1024. Couldn't give a crap about lower or higher resolutions to be honest.
