Good point..but remember Guti is an attacking midfielder that can play as a striker...of which we have none..so there will always be room in the squad especially for one with experience! However there are other areas that are a higher priority..lets just hope Arsene' is one step ahead of the game as usual!

Now why would we want Guti? Why? Why? Why? Wenger wake up and buy a player in a position we actually need...

17-year-old = not fully physically developed = burnt out by overplaying

YES! Of course! That's the answer!

Let's solve our striker/goalkeeper/winger problem, by buying another central midfielder to sit behing Fabregas, Flamini, Vieira, Gilberto, etc.

I think Gilberto and Vieira are Arsenal's first choice midfield, not Fabregas. He's got a bright prospect ahead of him, but it's not healthy for a 17 year old to play so many games.

He is pretty established, playing for the biggest team in the world and having a regular place until January, plus playing for his country regularly.

Well he played more than Beckham or Zidane last season...however he hasn't made much of an impact in an albeit ridiculously talented Spanish midfield...so I half agree with you! I just think we need to add some experience to our squad to supplement the youth we have coming through! Plus he is fairly versitile! Would still rather have Xavi though...or even Xavi Alonso..for that matter!
