Picked up the basic unit on sunday for £4 but it was untested. I need to know what power supply it takes so that I can see if there is some life in it. Anyone know? Also what were some of the best games that were released on it? I'll try to pick up a few if I ever get it working.
Fair enough. I popped the mega drive one poiwer lead in and it fitted but that was about it. The only thing I think I really need to know is the voltage then I should be able to find a lead that will work. Any one else with an idea?
Yeah, the connectors are different. I've got a Megadrive 1 and the original Mega CD so I'm not really sure about the second one.
I would have thought that they would run on the same but I tried it yesterday and I didn't work. I've read up a little and I think that they need different leads. I have a Mega Drive I and a Mega CD II. They are compatible except for the power leads I think.
I don't know if this is of any use but my Mega CD runs on the same power as the original Megadrive.
