Yeah, the message I get using that Firefox Tidy HTML plugin is that the forms are nested, but the arrangement of the table is awkward as I need the payment form to be in the next cell, so I can't leave the table. Which means I have to use CSS to position some divs.

Haha, 'divs'.

First things first. Tell him that background is awful!

Secondly, I'm not sure if it is picking up the close form tag in

"....class=form>"

Your first tag is before the table and this tag is in the table.

And both your other tags are in the same cell so they appear to be working fine.
