Captain Farquharson talking about his social intercourse, Chinese women telling us of their group coming with their fellow comrades. It's all there...

Not doing it for A-Level. I've been put off by the last 2 years, it's a very very boring subject interspersed with slightly less boring sections. It's easy but that can't compensate fully for the brainmelting which results in me sitting and staring off ito the distance with dribble dripping down my chin, caring less and less every passing second about the reasons for decline in the inner cities of MEDC's.

The whole of the Kobe case study is going to be ingrained in my memory for the rest of my life...
But that's irrelevant.
Ours was about Weather and Climate, Population change and an open ended question on Global issues.
I did:
Section A
1) Hazards
The first question was a bit sucky (you had to use a table and see how responsible humans are for the cause + effects of hazards), but I managed to get a few case studies in there (Kobe being the main one).
Then I chose:
ii) Why do the hazard management schemes in place relate to the economic devlopment of a country (or however it was worded).
I loved this question, it was basically my coursework all over again. :) I used the Philippines, America and Japan as case studies. Mmm.
Then I chose:
Section B
7) Leisure and Tourism
Compulsory question was... interesting, but I managed to use Mozambique as a basis for comparison and thought it was OK.
Followed with:
ii) How sustainable is tourism?
Aaaaaaah, my sort of question. :) I used the Mediterranean and the Galapagos islands, and I had revised intensively for this sort of question, and as such was very very happy. :)
So yes, I thought it went OK. I just hope I answered in the correct way, sometimes you have to spend a while deciphering what the hell they actually want.
Yourself?
