After my GFX crashing earlier whilst attempting to run BF2, my computer switched to Software rendering. Whilst it did that, all the shortcut icons on my computer, have changed from a small square&arrow in the bottom corner to a small black square in the bottom corner. Numerous restarts and full power downs later and they still havent returned to normal. I havent a clue what's happened. I hope one of you has. Cheers

Wahey. Found the icon, right clicked it, default, worked straight away. Amazing. Many thanks Chipseh. I can delete the program now cant I?
Just downloaded it, i'll give it a try. My last resort is a restore point created yesterday. So if it doesnt work then I wont lose too much...
Download a program called IconPhile. It allows you to change icons for many things on your PC (Hard Drives, My Documents etc) and also includes the shortcut icon. However, it also has an option to restore default icons. Give that a try.
Methinks the icon is corrupted. Tho the black square is appearing over every icon that is a shortcut. Anyone know how to solve this, its really bugging me. I could restore...
