"Spinning head?"

Hmmmm how to convey this...

Right me and my girlfriend were talking about movie scenes and we vaguely remember some character/machine that has four faces on a sort of cube shaped head and this headspins as it makes decisions. Pretty sure it's an evil thing too.

Any help as to what film/series this character could be from?

Could be those things out of the Tranformers movie that go 'guilty'.

Only thing similar that I can think of is a Quintesson from Transformers. Wasn't a red cube but did have five faces that would spin around. Had tentacles and kinda levitated on energeon or something.

The red cube thing is ringing a bell though.

Exactly, but it seemed so Hellraiser-ish.

I recall him - I think. I used to have a toy; were his head/face/'s inside a metal, square box? Oh' and was he orange?

Nobody in the Hellraisers does anything like that. What you're talking about reminds me off something though, I can't for the life of me remember what it is though.
