Not always quality - there have been some really bad episodes of Trek (ie: Spocks Brain), its more a case of longevity.
Now that IS taking things too far!!! I can honestly say all I have is a single piccy of the Enterprise 1701-E on my wall.
However, if anyone has any spare Starfleet style decking and consoles, please send them to:
BORGDRONE,
THE CUBE,

Firstly I am sorry if I offended you or more importantly your wife. I didn't mean to offend either off you.
Secondly I know I carn't spell but I can not be bothered to put everything through the spell checker. God only knows how I passed English GCSE! (I got a C and that is without turning up for the exam)
Thirdly as you say this is an open forum, you are free to discuss Star Trek but as this is an open forum people can then make informed or none informed remarks on your comments or indeed Star Trek. However there is boundaries and as I have commented above I feel I may have said to much but have now apologised.
Can we say "Joke"?
An entirely joking post from myself has run to someone passin comment on somebody's wife and a general feeling of hostility.
People, people...what would Spock think?
hehe
On a lighter note, check out The Sun today, page 3.
Noooo, not that picture, the sidebar about a guy that has turned his flat into a replica of The Enterprise, complete with "lights that make it look like a force-field".
The bit that had me chuckling was "his wife left him for another earth-male".
You have to admit, general opinion of hardcore fans are mentalists (thanks to Mr Partridge for that one).
It wasnt a personal comment on anyone here that I made, just in general.
So, in the immortal words of William Shatner to a fan on a radio-phone in in the USA "Get a life"
> girly things like WWF.
What?!

Since when has this been an indicator of quality? Mills and Boons, Emmerdale and The Sun have all been around for a long time -it doesn't mean they are worthy of our devotion, it just means that there are enough saps around to keep them going.
Back off about my wife!!
I said she liked Trek, that does not imply that she is a total Trekkie (or Trekker - please note the CORRECT spellings for your spellchecker). If fact she`s an avid gardener and has a sizable collection of Anne Rice books and listens to opera.
S**g me off if you wish, i don`t mind. I`ve had to put up with a lot worse than you in the past. All you narrow-minded people who say they hate Trek take note: Star Trek in its various forms has been around since the early 60`s and still keeps going when alot of other decent quality shows like Babylon 5, X-Files and Buffy will in time fade away... even the mighty Star Wars which started in 1977 has not maintained the same level of output that Star Trek has over the years.
As you can see, i`m sick and tired of people uneducated on the subject attacking what they do not understand just because they "don`t like it".
So i`ll continue to comment on Trek related items from time to time ( Well, my nickname is a BIG clue about what i like anyway!!!) on this OPEN FORUM ie: where anyone can talk for and against things like Star Trek, just don`t get personal about the wives of people you do not know.
If you don`t like Trek related topics - don`t answer back on them my friend....!
