Not DVD's, I'm poor, so I'll stick to VHS until that changes.
What did I get?
Well I went into a certain shop, and they had 5 videos for £30. I thought about this. That's £6 each. Reasonable. Then I considered that if I bought these videos I wouldn't rent a video when I normally would, so taking this into account, the videos were only costing me £3 each.
Anyway, I walked along that stand for many many minutes before making my decision. The first three were easy, Temple of Doom, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, and The Last Crusade. Indiana Jones movies. Classics.
Still left me with 2 more to pick up though. There were many decent titles available, some from only a year or so ago like Final Destination, and some older classics, like Aliens.
I could easily have picked out10 films, but saw sense. I need to eat this month too!
In the end I found Back to the Future and Back to the Future 2. I was very, very impressed with picking up 5 classic movies at that price. When I got home, my wife was more than a little annoyed with my selection. She could understand Indiana Jones, but Back to the Future? She thought I was mad!
I tried to tell her it was a classic, but when I also mentioned some of the other films I could have picked up she wasn't best pleased.
I don't know! am I the only one that thinks that the Back to the Future films are great, and the kind of movies you can watch countless times?
