And some unfortunate commentary, "She definitely got the ball, but the referee obviously thought she took her from behind."

No you're not alone, i was gutted too that we lost.
On another note, what a miss by Faye White...
Am i alone in this?
Probably.

They seem to do nothing BUT chest the ball. So many times the ball just wants a good "have it" whack out of the area or heading away, and they chest it, leaving the other team to take it off there hands and have a pot shot. Infuriates me.
And i still think that free kick should have been saved.
Am afraid I claimed her ages ago....

Live: Denmark 1-1 England
England v Denmark photos
Merete Pedersen converted a free-kick with 11 minutes remaining as Denmark salvaged a draw with England in their Group A Euro 2005 encounter.
Fara Williams put England ahead from the penalty spot after Rachel Yankey was brought down by Mariann Knudsen.
Yankey had England's best first-half chance but flashed a shot wide after some neat footwork from Karen Carney.
England skipper Faye White should have made it 2-0 but flicked over from close range after a Yankey cross.
How did they not win....
Although they're all better than me. :c(
