When I play DVDs on the PS2, (my only DVD player) it buzzes intermitently. I know that pretty much every player does, but is it a noise that's picked up from the DVD, or a noise which the PS2 is making as it reads it, or a noise that is played through as it reads it?
Is there a way of stopping this?

Put something soft like a towel underneath it. I had the same problem, certain discs caused the PS2 to rattle but the noise was coming from the PS2 vibrating on the desk.
If that doesn't stop it then it's something internal and I haven't got a clue.
