Just Stop to think what the world would be like if nintendo would of never existed , So many familiar things would not exist , infact would gaming as we know it even be around. one thing that is sure is that instead of joypads we would all be using joysticks to play games with because it was nintendo that invented the D-pad. There would be no platform games (another nintndo invetion) would there even be handheld gaming. No mario kart, No Donkey kong, no Pokemon(a good thing?). If this paralel world were to exist , would you want to live there?

Thats a funny thing to say, no?? Its like saying that if millions of yers ago, that if it wasn't hotter than the earths average, we might never come out of our caves, and we wouldn't be here today!!

I agree gaming just would not be the same. Nintendo have been influential during the past 16 years of gaming. The d-pad was a masterful creation as many people can not imagine playing a 2-d platform game with a joystick. Think of the most important games over the years and then who made them Nintendo that is who. Mario, Zelda to name a few.
Still... no where near as important as Atari though huh?

er, i don't think so man,get your facts straight first.
Nintendo were brilliant,I own the very first mario brothers, no not the one on the nes even before that on the atari 2600 and donkey kong.The NES was amazing for platforms with the SNES to follow with street fighter,mario world and all the classic titles but after the snes if nintendo ended there all we would have now is bored kiddies.

You can pretty much garauntee that life without Nintendo would be pretty much the same. No luurvely PS2s, though!
