Thanks for reading and comenting. It's a story I've had in the back of my mind for a while, and it's good to finally get it out of my head. I agree, it does need expanding in a descriptive sense in certain areas - the mixing of the spell with the fortune teller is particularly weak at the moment.
As usual, that was a great read.

Must admit, the actual plot didn't rock my world so much, but that's just opinion, and I can't deny - as always - your top quality story-telling abilities.
Great atmosphere at the start of the beach and shore-line, would have been nice to see a few more descriptive passages peppered elsewhere.
