I never used to until my dad parked the van up the driveway amd came indorrs. We went out later on and the van had rolled down the drive into a metal post. It seems ironic that it was on that day and that earlier that day i had been saying to my mate how its a load of rubbish.
I know it was a couple of weeks ago but i have only just thought of asking!

He's been driving for 30 years and hes never had that problem before

That doesn't show Friday the 13th is unlucky.
That just shows your dad doesn't know how to use a handbrake.
Although if your van did roll down the hill and into a pole everyday, I'd probably get the handbrake checked over.
