The dashboard displayed 60mph.But, I knew the car was slowing down. And not in the most convenient of places. As the sun's rays beat down forcing a sweat, I took a look around as the car was coming to a stop. A blonde shade of colour went on as far as the eye could see. Every so often dotted with bright green Cacti. Taking, what could easily be mistaken for the shapes of men, in the distance through the blurred vision of heat waves.

I grabbed for the door, but it was jammed. My pride didn't last long, and along with my patience, left after a minute or so. So I grabbed across, and exited through the pasenger side.

I looked around and down the dusty road. A tumbleweed hit me in the face.
