I have decided to learn how to make dynamic sites, mainly by using PHP, Javascripts, CGI, etc. I Know that you need a few things installed on your computer in order to do this, but I just can't get my head around all the things you need. Can anyone tell me where I would find all the applications that you need to do this, one website would be great, cheers.

I've made a few basic scripts using PHP including a page that tells you the web browser you're using, so I've taken my first steps into PHP today. I'm just using PHP.net for tutorials, which is quite good and I've got a couple of ebooks as well. Thanks again for the help.

Nah, I'm okay for tutorials, but thanks for that all in one package. I did find all the things I needed eventually, but I had to install about 4 different things seperatly, to get PHP, MySQL and the Apeche Server up and running on my PC. That all in one pakage is great, thanks for the help.

I guess what you want is this..

http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html

You want XAMPP for Windows, its an all in one package, containing apache, php, mysql and a few other things. Just a matter of running the installer and it sets it up for you. This will let you run/test your scripts locally.

Next I suppose you want tutorials. Heres a few;

but I honestly suggest just googling and finding ones you like yourself.

You dont need anything more than the above. You might like to get yourself a nicer text editor (if you dont have one already), something that supports text highlighting like TextPad. You can find a fairly nice resource of php editors if you http://www.php-editors.com/.
