To be honest all you're going to get here are short opinions that don't amount to much because ultimately it's down to what games YOU like.
I suggest you look at the suggestions so far and the recent releases on a few sites and then look at a few reviews for the ones you think look the best out of that lot.

Just found Pro Evo for under 7 quid online.
Midnight Club 3, Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory, Timesplitters 3, Ninja Gaiden, GTA : San Andreas, Brothers in Arms.

My mate got a good RPG...Forgot what it was called...Not Star Wars..Worth a look i'd say.
Burnout 3 is good, you can get that for less than 30 i got it for 12 !
