Watching the first series of League of Gentlemen - it gets better every time.

It's your sense of humour that's awful, not the programme.
My favourite's gotta be Herr Lip, especially in the Xmas special. Also I really liked that sketch in the first series with the cave guide, he did a similiar one which was equally excellent in the 3rd series, about Nerophilia.

Or the dirty pervy guy in the dating agency

Or the the stupidly anal couple..
"We can't have young Chloe or Radcliffe walking in to see you trousers around your ankles, hunched double, pumping your fist"
Superb programme!

Little Britain totally ripped off the Job Centre with the Fat Fighters.
I love the guy in the shop, can't remember the name.

It's not the sort of thing where you can watch ten minutes and laugh. That's why it took so long to get into it.
Best character is Dr Chinnery, the rubbish vet. Saw them live and he does an animal magic act...I nearly crapped in my seat from laughing. Just out of nowhere the curtain goes back, and he storms the stage to loud circus music, cutting heads off rabbits and throwing dead pigeons from his sleeves. Wonderful.

The only footage of The League of Gentlemen that I've seen is about 10 mins of some episode and loads of adverts/clips
And I've never found it funny.
