After recently changing over from using a conventional modem to using a router I have realised that the speeds my connection are downloading at are sub-standard.
My service is the usual 512k and used to download at anywhere between 55-70 Kbps now I am lucky to be downloading at around 30 Kbps. I stupidly left the setting up of the router to my brother who has probably done a half-assed job.
I was wondering if any of you guys had some kind of input.
Thanks,
Jim.
Some require different router settings, AOL being one example.
Even updating my Anti-Virus is slow and painful.
