i got this single today, speed of sound is excellant, just wondered what you thorght of 'Things i dont understand' and 'proof'. I like 'Things i dont understand' but not as much as 'SoS', 'proof' is pretty poor in my opinion.

I don't really like it, I always found the Coldplay songs I enjoyed more were the more select ones that weren't instantly likable enough to get released as singles.

I've heard it once or twice yet it hasn't caught my imagination at all. I'm hoping the singles capture the genius which I once knew them for, though.
The genius tends to wear off after the first few weeks of the media battering it for everything, though.

All of Parachutes was excellent, as was most of Rush of Blood.
Will be seeing them on the 1st of July, think Supergrass are supporting? I'd rather have had Elbow, but Supergrass are great anyway.
