Anyway, I just booted up Everest Home Edition to check my PC, and it says that my current CPU clock is 2326MHz (Original: 2800MHz) and that my FSB is currently clocked at 166MHz (Original: 200MHz). I'm assuming there's a problem here somewhere, so how would I go about restoring both the FSB and Processor back to their original values?
Cheers.
Strange.
Go into the BIOS when you turn on the PC and change it in there. It may be that you have slow memory, in which case you might need to run with a divider, but more likely it just isn't set correctly.
I'll try a google search, if not I'll come and ask again. Thanks.
Shouldn't it be 17x?
166 * 17 = 2822mhz
166 * 14 = 2324mhz
I might be wrong though.
