So finally got round to being able to cross the bridges into Las Venturas without the stars going up and getting blown to pieces very fast, did a few missions before I decided to go explore a little.

Ruddy Nora, how huge is it, and quality too. Based on Las Vegas, where I just happened to be on holiday during summer. All the casinos that I saw are in the game, driving down the strip just trying to take it all in.
Only about 45% done so plenty more to still see and do.

Most enjoyable game I've played in a while.

Heh I played it at a friends and it was pretty good.
There isn't a low wall though to help you get in the airport, I had to get a van, then jump on the back and on the top, then climb over the fence into the airport.
It was fun though, flying in the jet as high as I could, then jumping out of the plane without a parachute heh.

I cant wait to get to Las Venturas!

Without giving away too many spoilers can you tell me whether i'm near to unlocking it? I've done all missions for Woozie and i'm doing a few missions for a Pimp.

Am I almost there?

Cheers.

Your not far off, think there are a few more missions for Woozie that appear as well as a few for the pimp and for your garage. Then you get to cross the bridge.

Yep, pretty far off. But I found that I got through San Fierro pretty quickly, it's not too hard. That is, until you get the Zero missions.

Just unlocked Las Venturas, only looked at the desert area, which looked a bit pap.

Oh god, I can even do the first mission. I hate it so much.

It hurts.

The first mission was a piece of cake. The second is insane.
