Listening 'to' Prodigy's latest again. :(

Came back to it after many months, still amazed at the amazing fall from grace this album is.

Shame as I downloaded some of the earlier stuff that was scrapped (Trigger an one other that I forget) and it was much better than this awful awful parody of what was once a fantastic group.

Can someone suggest some Prodigy-a-likes for me to listen to?

Nearest things I've found are Chemical Brothers (mainly crap), some Rob Zombie remixes, some Junkie XL remixes of Fear Factory and Ozric Tentacles (Godly).

Heh.

Manchild aren't fronted by Adamski are they?

Sounds like Prodigy crossed with Adamski's early 90's brilliance. I like this.

Yeah those weren't much good. Aside from Manchild, which was a dodgy file.

Fluke seem like the heavier side of the Ibiza sound but don't seem to be as innovative or even as heavy as The Shamen.

Donkey Rhubard was interesting but made me long for some Mad Capsule Market crazyness in the middle as it was a little too 'cute'.

Have had some Crystal Method for a while now, not too keen on them as they're a little too repetitive. I do listen to their Dark Urbal Beats (DUB) track a lot though, it's one of the select few I put on my Xbox.

Cheers anyway. :)

Aphex Twin's Donkey Rhubarb is an absolute tune and a half.

Manchild's album 'Untied States' has a definete Prodigy-esque feel to it.
The Crystal Method are America's answer to the Chemical Brothers
and you may also want to try Fluke.

Yep I've owned 'Come to Daddy' for a few years now.

Have a listen to Aphex Twin - Icct Hedral if you like that.

The heaviest Prodigy-a-like that I own is 2nd Gen's album called Irony Is - well worth it.

If you like the earlier Prodigy stuff such as Firestarter or Breathe then you could do worse than try "Come to Daddy" by Aphex Twin. Be warned though, it's much heavier and crazier than any of Prodigy's efforts.

Check out the awesomely cool video as well.

I dont think anything really touches prodigy's earlier stuff.

Really dissapointed with the last excuse of an album.
