When I switched the television on and saw the title ‘The Sphere’ on the screen, I had seen it before but hadn’t expected much from it, I sat down and watched it.
The film started off as normal, an introduction to the characters and basic information on the film is always there.
Dustin Hoffman has the lead role as ‘Norman’. The last time I saw him in a film was ‘Raman’ and I was expecting some kind of misguided acting part from him somewhere throughout the film. He seemed quite alert, open minded and seemed to notice the strange goings on more often than the other team members whom were all top grade scientists and long time friends of Norman (Dustin Hoffman).
Before I go on, I have to say this film is for the people who can predict what happens next in most sci-fi and Action movies, you think you know whats going to happen but spins around and takes another turn usually for the worse.
There are a lot of puzzles and twists plotted all over the film which keep you wondering what it’s all about, your still left in the dark about who’s who until the very end of the film. There are many mysterious things and uncontrolled blood baths, which occur all ending in a strange twist at the end.
I really can’t understand why this film didn’t get a better rating! It’s a real good movie and gets a top rating from my family and me!
