I send this thing out for my Uni App to get a "corporate card" which lets me access the library, Computer bits etc (it's basically a swipe card) and they've sent me it already.

So, in theory, I can already use equipment and such, even though I haven't even necessarily got a place on the course (it's dependent on me getting BBB at A level) etc - stupid uni.

While on the topic of cards, are TONY and his government still going to introduce those 'Big Brother is Watching You' (1984 by Orwell, not CH4 crap) style iD cards to everyone ?

Don't wanna burst your bubble, but the card probably doesn't validate until the beginning of the year and even then you won't have access to computers.
