Seeing as you only get money based on how many items you stole - not what the items actually were, it shouldn't matter.
I gave up anyway after I realised you only get $20 for an item.
It probably doubles or something for every one you get after that, but there's much easier, funner, and less risky ways to earn money.

i got $180 for 2 tvs and a vcr (i think)
You can also steal a microwave.

I made $450 in one night robbing houses, just do like a whole street.
You can make more than that just killing rich people :P
You can rob Tv's, VCrs, Stereos, Microwaves, Mini Radios, you can rob loads i made £2245 in one night in the Jefferson area, i robbed 11 items, so that isnt bad, but try to find better areas, richer more expensive itmes can be found.
