The recent happenings in Uzbekistan made me think: It's another small country, with a vicious dictator, and a reason to attack (the recent massacre of protestors).

If they have anything as valuable as oil in their possesion it could be the new Iraq.

Is this the christian country informing on it's neighbours despite being run by a guy who likes to boil his opponents alive?

An even funnier Jack Straw quote about the Uzbekistan business;

"It's for the people to decide on a change of regime, not outsiders."

I'll bet that had 'em rolling in the aisles in Iraq...

I finally read something in the Daily Mail that was slightly amusing in a proper way, and not sad pitying way.

Something like
"Foreign Secretary Jack Straw called the protest shootings an "abuse of basic human rights". The Uzbeks told him to mind his own business."

Please tell me I wasn't the only one to laugh at that..

You do realise the area is one of the main sources for our drugs trade.

They'll take that stance if they do "invade"
