Just watched it (yes, a few minutes ago- I recorded it). Of the episodes I've seen, that was probably the best. Of all the time-travelling plots I've seen (and written) for a story, that episode gave out the cake and made me eat it.

Plus it made me cry, which shows I was paying too much attention to it.

Yeah but the Doctor used to travel all over the universe. We've had a series of bizarre ones and then a storyline set around Rose and her family.

I love this series but it is a different Dr. Who to the one I remember.

Based around earth though. I think it's trying to amplify the fact that it's not just an uber fast space machine but it can travel in time.

The one on the space station last week was set in space, and it was quite a good one.

Two were set in space.

Was a stunning episode, I think it made my Mum cry, she got a little emotional.

This series has been consistantly top notch, by the farting alien double bill thing... and the first episode was just ok.

Other than that I've been dead happy with what I've watched.

What a fantastic episode.

Why are they all set on earth though?

You know, the part where Rose's father...well... I won't go into it and spoil it for those who missed it and care.

The speech, that's the best way of describing it.

Dr Who makes me cry every time I'm unfortunate enough to catch it. Mostly with laughter, although sometimes just with sheer pain.
