History can be a complicated subject. So many facts and dates to learn as well as trying to understand the reasoning behind why certain events occured. But fear not, I am here to help you learn about the life and times of Adolf Hitler and World War II.
Born in 1889, Hitler was instantly a fan of wackelpudding. Rumour has it that wackelpudding was in fact his first word but, unfortunately, we'll never know. Hitler's father was a rough man, not only would he beat Hitler but on occasion, he would send his son to bed without his wackelpudding, a fate worse than death I'm sure you'll agree.
During World War I, wackelpudding was the only food available. It was cheap and filling so the soldiers in the German army were fed it every day. For this reason alone, Hitler joined the army. On one occasion, they ran out of wackelpudding but Hitler was a brave man, he fearlessly made his way to the General's office to get new supplies for the troops and this act gained him the Iron Cross.
In 1918, Germany surrendered. Hitler was furious. No longer would he be able to get free wackelpudding each and every day. He vowed to become leader of Germany and bring wackelpudding to the people.
During his time in the German army, Hitler learnt that the Jewish people were masters of making wackelpudding. You'd think he would have liked them for this but no, he was jealous.
Through various campaigns Hitler became Chancellor of Germany in 1933. He was more determined than ever to bring wackelpudding to the people. The Wall Street crash in 1929 had badly affected the wackelpudding business and Hitler had been limited to a mere 20 portions per week.
Hitler sent out hs personal army, the SSWP, to imprison the Jews and take away their wackelpuddings and their secret recipes. The Jews were taken to special concentration camps, where they were forced to make endless supplies of wackelpudding for the German people.
Foreign leaders were infuriated by Hitler's actions, they too wanted more wackelpudding. Despite having many wackelpudding factories across Germany, Hitler refused to share, he just loved his wackelpudding. In 1945, Britain declared war. Join us next time to find out what happened.
