So, Rolf Harris is to paint the Queen's portrait in an official sitting for her 80th birthday.
Is this wise? I ask. I mean, ok, he's an official fine artist, but lets look at his past; Cartoon time, Animal Hospital, not exactly royal stuff.
But then it's all going to be shown on BBC1 as well. So perhaps we'll get to see Rolf's impression of the queen after all, he's already said it won't be a formal painting...
I personally can't wait till the event next year. Imagine the queen's face as she finally takes a look at her head on a little rolf-a-roo, or perhaps the Two Little Boys man will get distracted by the corgis? One thing's for sure, he won't be uttering the immortal phrase 'can you guess what it is yet' to Her Majesty unless he fancies the tower....
