At Sainsburys, dammit.

It's going to be horrible but at least it's some money.

Working at sainsbury's wasnt that bad.

I mean, at least no-one I knew who worked there commited suicide, despite the initial threats.

I however got a job in Subway.

That's what I hope to find out tomorrow. It's normally an awkward situation to bring up as employers seem to have this fear of me running off to work on a film. I don't have anything coming up in the near future (although there’s a prospect of a very exciting project happening later in the year. Can't go into detail yet as nothing's confirmed) so it should be fine.

For the time being all I need is some time to write. It will be three Saturdays a month but those weeks I'll have a day off somewhere between Monday and Friday, creating the perfect opportunity to sit down and type.

Like I said its money, and there are plenty of people my age down there.

Ah, it’ll be fine.

Sainsburys turned me down at first.

I was 16 and the reason they gave was 'you need to be 18 to work on tills and operate machinery in the warehouse', even though they did inteview me. I was quite relieved though.

Supermakets will hire anyone ... seriously, they just can't help themselves.

Well, Tesco did. Just try not to get put on the checkouts - death couldn't come quick enough facing a 9-hour Saturday shift.

I loved working at Sainsburys, the people were great and made the work bareable. Hopefully you'll get the chance to meet new people which makes your time go quickly.

That's true.

They're always looking for people (which can't be a good sign) and worked in two shops before so I've got a fair chance.

Meh. Plus this ia a full-time job, not just something for the weekends.

Very pleased with the help given by your staff. They explained technical details in an easy way and were patient when providing information to a non expert like me.
