Started off with some Black Arrow with some old friends on some new maps. Some office building one which is great and based upon one of the single player missions. Take out the entire opposing team twice in a row with some distraction techniques and all out Rambo charges
It breaks up after a while and me and my other friend who are left move onto Chaos Theory where we have some Deathmatch 1 on 1. I win easily as a merc then he wins extremely easily as a merc because I can't be assed to wait in vents and all that crap tonight. We have training mode on so we can chat whilst playing. After about 40 mins it's time for new opposition.
I accidentally join a friend's ranked game and after being previously given a severe owning by a rather drunk merc friend (see above) I decide I'm not ready for ranked stuff yet, staring down the barrel of 2 level 3 mercs as I am, and say I'm off as I don't want to do ranked. The american host doesn't throw a hissy fit and simply nods out an 'ok' and I go.
Now it's time for Halo 2 and it all becomes a blur of greatness. I joined either Biggles & co as they were leaving or some other friends first (I forget which) and end up palying with an all-american side. Oh crap, this could be bad apart from they're all decent and not one is a retard.
Over the next few hours we kick ass on numerous big team battles one of which I stroll in with the bomb and it's done. Then 2 rounds later I stroll in with the powersword, with the bomb guy behind me, take down two opponents and win the round effortlessly to my teammates obvious glee. We carry on picking up more people for our party as we go from the best the opposition has to offer.
It's now 8 in the morning, I've made an excellent new friend on Live and had one of the best nights I've ever had on Live.

What it doesn't show, because it's screwed up, is I fired a total of 13 shots in the whole game (5 of which hit) because the rest of the time I was beating him down with plasma rifle, ball etc.
Still leveled up too.

Made it up to the dizzying heights of level 13 before dropping down to a very low bar on 11.

MustyBear is pretty decent isn't he? I was just going since I had an 08:00 start today. I had a really good night last night as well. I was playing really well right up until I had connection issues and then I seemed to lose form a bit. Find the Americans-that-aren't-annoying-as-hell slightly distract you from playing?

Chaos Theory's messaging system is bloody awful though. A real pain considering organising a game with 4 friends on other games is easy and a good laugh once it gets going.

I was going to message you and ask you message me if it became non-ranked but then I found Chaos Theory's messaging system is crap and I could only send a message with an invite.
I sent you one on Halo 2 instead in the hope that the voice message would go through - on some games they do and others don't (I can play voice messages from Halo 2 on Arcade Treasures but they don't show up on Black Arrow), it's very confusing.
