I remember playing the demo ages ago, it was shat.

That was from what I remember though, it was a crappy demo with only two places to go and not much to do. Looked aged then so am not overly convinced about these "new graphical improvements"

Still, if it's free for the first six weeks, you've not got much to loose.

I've got the beta, as PSO used to be one of my most played games back on the DC and to some extent on the GC.

I'll not spend £5 a month on it though. The PC version is just a crappy port and not worth it. Still addictive as ever though.

I highly doubt that such an outdated game can compete with any of the more recent offerings in the same genre.
